From university to torture chamber

A university student Em ad Maho was tortured for protesting against President Bashar Assad's regime in Syria. He had to flee to Jordan after his family had been arrested to pressure him in to turning himself in.
I find this sad because I realize how much freedom I have in America but others around the world still live without any freedom
