The Skydiver Felix Baumgartner is going to attempt to break the 52 year old record of the longest fall. He is going to jump from 120,000 feet high. He will go into a free-fall an exceed speeds of mach 1 ( 690 mph) with temperatures at 96 below zero and at 5000 feet open the his parachute for the last 10 minutes of his fall.

I think this cool we keep on pushing the boundaries of the human limits, my only concern is whether or not he can handle these extreme speeds and other factors that might kill him.
